German ( Wurtenberg) M 1916 ersatz bayonet (ABCN629)(K594(JN0))(EB56)

German M 1898 Mauser M 1898 rifle and carbine. No serial number. Excellent bright finished plain blade with a crisp crowned German inspection marking on the ricasso. Green painted massive steel hilt with oil hole near the crossquard. and 5 nuts on both sides.  T-O slot in pommel. Excellent cast one piece crossguard with no muzzle ring.
Very good feldgrau painted steel ersatz scabbard. Scabbard shows several small indentations only.

One of the rarest German ersatz bayonets. Used by Würtenberg only. Absolutely hard to find.  Seldom encountered. This one is in an Excellent+ condition.
