Description
Mauser M71 rifle/Mauser M71/84 rifle / Werder M1869 Rifle. Excellent+ bright finished fullered blade with German makers name and residence: E. WILHELM over SUHL on the ricasso. Blade spine is very crisp marked and dated: Crown over W over 73 over a German inspection marking. Excellent brass grip with external spring. Excellent bright finished steel crossguard with quillon and muzzle ring. MRD 17,4 mm. Crossguard is unit marked: 111. R.R. 61. (= 111 Infantry Reserve Regiment Markgraf Ludwig Wilhelm. (3.
