German M 1915-18 "Crank-Handle" ersatz bayonet/ fighting knife by DEMAG-DUISBURG. (ABCN45-1)(K8)(JN95-1)
German M 898 Mauser rifle. German M 1915-18 "Crank-Handle" ersatz bayonet. Excellent + bright finished double edged blade with the German makers trademark: X DEMAG X DUISBURG in a circle on the right ricasso.(= Deutsche Machine Fabrik A.G. - Duisburg). Left ricasso is marked: GESETZLICH GESCHÜTZT in two lines. Gothic inspection marking. Excellent "feldgrau" painted crank handle shaped steel riveted hilt with a T-O. slot in the pommel. Working catch. Small blackened crossguard with a forward swept quillon. No muzzle ring.
Excellent black painted steel scabbard with a black flexible leather integrated belt frog with a leather retaining strap. No dents to the scabbard but the retaining strap is missing its steel press button top only.
