German M 1884/98 bayonet, Third model, WWII by CLEMEN & JUNG '38 (ABCN455-1)(K143)(JN100-2)
Mauser K98. Serial number: 8255 over C on the ricasso. Excellent- fullered blued blade with the scarce German makers name: CLEMEN & JUNG on the ricasso. Reverse side with serial number and dated '39 on the blade spine. Excellent blued pommel and crossguard. Flash gard with no dents. Two German Waffenambt markings on pommel. Excellent- dark brown bakelite grips showing some light abuse only, secured to the tang by two screw bolts.
Excellent (not matching) maker marked and dated blued scabbard, with no dents, marked: 43 cgh (= ClEMEN & JUNG) and the serial number: 6108 over b on the reverse.
