German M 1884/98 bayonet, second model. WWI. Double maker marked: Gebr. Hartkopf-Solingen + H. Mundlos & Co.- Magdeburg. (ABC N 447)(JN81-2)(K 140)

Mauser M98 rifle. Excellent++ bright finished fullered blade with crisp German maker's names: GEBR. HARTKOPF-SOLINGEN  and H. MUNDLOS & Co.- MAGDEBURG on both side of the ricasso.
Very crisp Prussian W over date: 16 and Crown over B inspection mark on the blade spine. Excellent bright finished crossguard and pommel with T-O slot and Gothic inspection marking. Excellent wooden grips. Hilt with excellent dents free flash guard.
Correct WWI metal scabbard with some staining only. No dents. Gothic inspection mark on the final. 

Double marked WWI M84/98, second model bayonets are scarce.
