Description
German Heckler & Koch G3 Cal. 7.62 x 51 Nato. Greek serial numbers: 013 over 01207 struck on top of the grip. Minty blackened cutting up blade with large false edge. Round dull black polyamide grip with 12 grooves. Parkerized slot in pommel. Parkerized broad notched crossguard with muzzle ring. MRD: 20 mm.
Black plastic scabbard with a steel parkerized throat and a bayonet retaining clip. Hole in the tip for a lace. Green khaki integral frog with a retaining strap.
German (GMS) made G3 bayonet. Pretty scarce bayonet! A small number only was bought by Greece in 1975.
