German (Bavarian) Imperial extra seitegewehr frog for a M 1871/ M 1871-84 walking out bayonet.(AC290)

German (Bavarian) Imperial frog for a M 1871 / M1871-84 Extra Seitegewehr.  Excellent polished black leather dress frog with tooled edges to the loop and no rivets. The lower part of the back has been covered with stitched dark blue felt to protect the uniform from wear.  It has a pointed front loop and a reinforced narrow spine. 
Overall length: 24 cm.!
