Description
German -Bavarian- M 1858 Podewils Infantry rifle. Cal 13.9 mm Type I, II, and III. Serial number: 18142 on the shank. Very good bright finished triangular blade with Bavarian inspection marking on the ricasso. Socket with an oblique mortise slot with a squared end and locking ring. Collar is marked: S. MRD20 mm.
The socked bayonet is stained.
Total length: 603 mm.
No scabbard.
