French M 58 MAS bayonet. (ABCN275-2)(K767)(JN0)

French MAS 49/56 rifle. M 58 MAS bayonet. Minty phosforized plain short blade with short false edge. Total length of the blade 325 mm. Black plastic hilt fixed to the blade tang by two small spanner bolts. Release catch in hilt with a small press stud. Muzzle rings on both pommel and crossguard MRD 22 mm. Crossguard is marked MAS 69. (= Manufacture d'Armes St. Emillion, 1969) 
Phosforized correct metal scabbard is marked MAS 69 in two lines on the reverse of the scabbard throat. The scabbard has the same shape as the blade: Short false edge shape. Green leather integral frog fixed with four large rivets to the scabbard body. Frog with US belt hook and retaining strap.
