Indian No.1 MK1** bayonet. Shortened English M 1907 bayonet by WILKINSON (ABCN572)(K182)(58-2)
Lee Enfield (SMLE) No.1 Mk.II. rifle. Excellent bright finished shortened fullered blade with British maker name; WILKINSON and date 9-'15, 1907, MK I** and a faint crown on the ricasso. De reverse is marked FR56 (=Factory repair 1956) and British inspection markings on the reverse side. Fuller is running to the point. Added false edge. Crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 16.5 mm. Minty wooden grips secured with screw bolts. Excellent and correct Indian made full length P. 07 scabbard with blued metal fittings and no rivets in the top mount. Round frog stud, all stitches intact and no serieus dents. Both mounts are marked M/44. Leather body is crisp marked; M/44 J.B.B.
