English No.4 MKIII socket bayonet by Lucas with plastic MKIII sacbbard. (ABCN35)(K5)(JN61-2)

Description
Enfield 303. No.4 rifle. Near MINT very crudely made and blackened socket, marked /I\ M 158 on the top. (= maker's code for J. Lucas Ltd., Chesterstreet, Birmingham). Excellent round parkerized blade, brazed to the socket.
Excellent US made, plastic MKIII scabbard with alloy throat.
The No.4 MKIII bayonet model was declared obsolete in 1946 and is less common than the No4 MkII socket bayonet.
