Description
Lee Enfield 303. No.4 rifle. Very good blued socket and round blade with pencil tip. Socket is marked No.4 MKII* over P.S.& S. Ltd (= Prince - Smith & Stells, Keighly, Yorkshire) and VNS (= VINERS Ltd, Sheffield, British subcontractor.) on the revers side. There is also a broad arrow.
Very good blued metal MKI scabbard marked with a sinc throat and no dents.
P.S.&.S Ltd. from Keighly, Yorkshire made 1.057.515 No.4 MkII* socket bayonets between 1942 and 1945.
