English M 1908 webbing frog with a helve carrier tab. (AC117)
Pattern M 1908 webbing equipment belt frog. Excellent green webbing frog. Two brass rivets and a stitched short tool helve carrier tab with a brass tip. Reverse side faint stamped with a makers code.
Introduced in 1909 and made by M.E.CO (= Mils Equipment Company). This is the first model (AC117) with brass rivets and a stitched short tab.
Used with M 1888, M 1903 and M 1907 bayonets.
Height: 21.0 cm. Width: 6.3 cm. Tab length: 13.0 cm. Tab width: 2,5 cm.
Genuine frog. Hard to find frog nowadays. (Ref. Anthony Carter: AC 117)
