Semi-automatic rifle L1A1 Cal. 7.62 . Minty parkerized fullered Bowie type blade with long fuller. First 2 cm blackened. Ricasso is maker marked: H in a Diamant shape and dated 73 (=HOPKINSON SHEFFIELD 1973) Blackened pommel is riveted to the tang. L1A1 type crossguard (variation) with muzzle ring MRD 14.8. Blackened metal grips both riveted to the tang. Left grip is NATO code marked: L1A4 960002597 S.M. (S.M. = HOPKINSON SHEFFIELD)
