Description
Danish M 1947 and M1947-53 Madsen rifle and M1953 Mark II PM Madsen. Minty bright finished double edged blade with no false edge. Dark blackened pommel with TO slot and crossguard with muzzle ring. MRD 15.5 mm. Wooden grips secured to the blade tang by two screw bolts. Black painted steel scabbard with no dents.
This bayonet was never used by the Danish army, but was exported to and used with the M 1947 Madsen rifle by Colombia, Chili, Brazil and Guantamala.
An adapter is needed if used with the Madsen M 1953 MKII MP.
