Chilean M 1908 Police side arm (ABCN504)(K0)(JN28-2)

Chilean M 1908 Police side arm. Serial number 14 A on pommel. Excellent bright polished T-shape blade, made from a shortened Chilean M 1874 Gras bayonet blade. Massive brass hilt with a very detailed and beautiful Chilean crest on one side. Crisp REPUBLICA DE CHILI in a scrol as part of the crest. Bright metal crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 18 mm. and fast foward swept quillon. Excellent blued shortened Gras scabbard with a massive brass final and a long brass frog stud. No dents to the scabbard.
It comes with a mint black lackered leather dress frog as found. No markings to the frog.
