Description
Canadian Pattern 1915 Infantry belt frog to carry the P 1907 bayonet. Excellent brown leather belt frog fixed with 6 brass rivets and a strap with a brass buckle. Frog is stamped on the front with a crisp Canadian ownership marking: Broad arrow in a C. Strap is marked: HUGH CARSONC0.Ltd over OTTAWA. Reverse side is unit marked: 6 C G A over 10 over 22(= 6th. Very rare Canadian made well stamped bayonet belt frog, hard to find. Made from 1915 till 1917 only. (Ref. AC 187)
