Canadian M 1957 / C1 bayonet.(ABCN167-2)(K510)(JN27-2)(BCB-C16)
Canadian C 1 self- loading rifle. No serial number. Excellent+ bright finished blade with a long fuller and square fullers. A more short Bowie tip. The ricasso is Canadian Arsenal maker marked and dated: CA 1958. Dull gray parkerized pommel is riveted to the tang. T- type mortise slot. L1A1 type crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 14.7. Crossguard is marked facing the blade: C1 but no Nato stock number.! Dull gray parkerized steel grips are riveted to the blade tang.
Excellent and correct blackened steel scabbard with round frog stud and brass throat, no markings nor dents.
It comes with its correct Minty Canadian made green nylon bayonet frog with two front loops and no retaining strap, crisp stamped on the reverse side in two lines: 8465 21 888 7106 over 8PT83 00200. (Ref: Anthony Carter 487).
Canadian C1 bayonets are not common.
