Brazilian M 1934 bayonet(ABC N 886-1) (K 0) (JN 23-2)
Brazilian Mauser rifle M 1908-34. Serial number: 0443 over H and α on crossguard. Excellent bright finished long fullered blade with only a few pits to the blade spine. Ghotic script α on crossguard facing the blade and pommel near the mortise slot. No makers name, but we know that these were made in Germany. Bright finished polished pommel with T-O slot and crossguard with forward swept quillon and muzzle ring MRD 15,3 mm. Wooden grips secured to the blade tang by screw bolts. Bolts are marked; α. and both wooden scales: ß. Oil hole in grip.
Excellent black tooled leather scabbard with blued metal fittings and no dents. Frog stud with serial number: 3278 over N. Chape and top mount are both marked; α.
Total length: 518 mm.
