Belgian made Uruguayan M 1900 bayonet.(ABC N 568-2)K0)(JN240-1)

Belgian FN made  M1895 Spanish / Brazilian Mauser rifle. Serial number: 215 on the crossguard. Excellent unmarked bright finished fullered blade. Excellent bright finished short pommel with T-slot and crossguard with a swept forward quillon and a high muzzle ring. MRD 15.5 mm. S in a box mark on crossguard. Very good wooden grips fixed to the blade tang by spanner screws. Excellent Belgian made leather scabbard with tooling and brass fittings with no dents. All stitches intact. Scabbard is marked 1358 on the frog stud.

These very well made bayonet are produces both in German and Belgium. These unmarked examples with leather scabbards were made by FN in Belgium. German made, maker marked examples, came with a steel scabbard.
Quite a rare bayonet, not very often found!
