Belgian M 1949 SAFN bayonet used by Belgium. Crown over JF marked (ABCN314-1)(K81)(JN20-2)
SAFN 30 cal. 30-06 Serial number: 8161 Matching! on the pommel. Minty phoforised double edged blade with a central rib. Darkened pommel with T-O slot and crossguard with muzzle ring. MRD 18 mm. Left side of the pommel is type marked: S.A. 30, Crown over JF. (=Belgian Acceptance marking) and the serial number. No oil hole in grip. Perfect wooden grips secured to the blade tang by screw bolts.
Excellent+ blackened steel scabbard with no dents. Matching serial number on the throat and a crisp Crown over JF on the frog stud..
An export bayonet, but this near Minty Crown over JF marked matching example was in use by the Belgian army.
