Description
German WWI bayonet/trench - boot knife. Excellent bright finished double edged plane blade with long false edge. No makers name and no markings. Excellent ribbed brown horn grips riveted to the blade tang by two steel rivets. 11 ribs. Asymmetrical thick bright finished steel crossguard. Excellent bright finished steel pommel with T-O mortise slot, but no push button and catch.
Excellent dents free blackened steel scabbard with long folded steel boot clip.
Total length: 26,7 cm. Blade length: 16.0 cm.
Very rare trench/boot knife with a mortise slot in the pommel. An interesting and well made bayonet combination in an excellent condition!
