Description
German M1888 Commission rifle and Mauser M1898 rifle. Serial number in Arab on crossguard. Very good bright fullered and shortened Belgium M 1889 Garde Civique type blade with 2 crisp German inspection markings on blade spine. One piece feldgrau painted metal hilt with two large rivets and oil hole. Grip type M 98/05. Nine ribs grip. Forward swept quillon with double open muzzle ring. Shortened M 98/05 blued metal scabbard with replaced round frog stud.
