Austro-Hungarian Ersatz M 1895 bayonet. (ABCN442-1)(K137)(JN12-2)

Austrian Mannlicher rifle M 1895. Ersatz bayonet. Excellent, but crudely made "edge up" blade with no markings. The blade is 90º twisted to the right. The  flat tang is showing traces of Feldgrau paint. "Crossguard" with a square muzzle ring top. (MRD 15,5 mm ) fixed by two round rivets. The flat leave spring underneath the tang has a round edge and is also hold by the two rivets holding the crossguard. The rounded leave spring is longer as the hilt is.
Excellent standard blued steel Austrian M 1888 scabbard with no dents marked OEWG. 

One of the many interesting variations of the Austro-Hungarian made Ersatz bayonets of WWI made around 1917. This one was made for the M 1895 rifle.

Very interesting Austro-Hungarian ersatz bayonet. Not a coy, but a very nice genuine example!.
