Dutch infantry officers sword knot, for all models of Dutch officers swords from 1852 till present day. Carried by all officers swords of the infantry, cavalry, artillery, Jaegers, Grenadiers etc. From the rank of luitenant till General. Not used by the Marines and Navy. Acorn shape with plated steel stem and crown. Acorn head made out of multiple rows of bullion wire. Orange core and a black cord.
This example has a very small acorn and a different stem pattern. This was possible a sword knot for a cadet-officers sword.
