L2A1 Sterling Sub Machine Gun. Minty bright finished Bowie blade with STERLING in a box etched on the left blade side. First 2 cm are blackened. Blackened pommel with NO OIL HOLE . Pommel is marked BSA over C. Blackened crossguard with a large muzzle ring: MRD 22,5 mm. and hole in short quilon. Round mortise slot in the pommel. Excellent blackened steel wrap around grips secured to the tang by two large hollow rivets.
Blackened all steel scabbard with no dents.
This is a near Mint commercial Sterling bayonet.
Hard to find bayonet.
