Description
Lee Enfield (SMLE) No1 MkII. s# 234 on pommel. Excellent blued plain blade with N.W.R. 42 (= North West Railway. 1942 ) on ricasso . NO FALSE EDGE. Very nice pommel with oil hole and crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 16.7 mm. Pommel is marked 1545 and 234. and ia over 50 on the other side. Excellent wooden grips secured with screwbolts. Excellent shortened black leather Po.7 scabbard with blued metal fittings.
This model with NO FALSE EDGE is pretty scarce!
