Description
British Enfield 303. No.4 rifle. Serial number: 1142. Excellent blued socket with deep blued round blade. Socket is Belgian marked: No.4 MK2 over Bg (=Belgium) over JF (=Belgian inspection marking) over the serial number.) Sharp bevel.
Excellent blued No.4 MK1 scabbard. No dents.
Very rare socket bayonet. It differs in details with the English made No.4 and it is believed that in the late 1940 only 7.000 No.4 MK2 bayonets were made by Belgium.
