Dutch M 1895 Cavalry bayonet (ABCN369)(K100)(JN146-1)

Dutch Mannlicher M 1895 cavalry carbine. New Model. Serial number 1060 N. on crossguard. Superb slim dark blued double edged blade with makers name HEMBRUG and Dutch inspection marking: Crown over Z (= Inspector Wiersma 1913 - 1918) on ricasso. 
Excellent blued bulbous pommel with Crown over Z marking and a straight crossguard with muzzle ring:  MRD 14,5 mm. Very good wooden grips secured by two large steel rivets. 
Left grip shows some light indentations/ user spurs only.
Excellent dark brown leather scabbard with integrated frog with retaining strap. Internal steel chape with a brass wire winding. Reverse of the frog is marked  54 over 54 and 21. The front is faint marked CW

Of this very rare cavalry bayonet only 17.000 were produced and only by the Dutch maker HEMBRUG  in 1917. It was issued in 1918 and never made with a hooked quillon. Hard to find with its brown all leather scabbard.
