Mannlicher M 1892-93 Kal. 6.5 mm. Bright fullered blade marked OEWG on the ricasso. Blade shows some field sharpening and some peppering in the fullers. Very good bright pommel with Romanian Phoenix stamp on the one side and two crossed flags under a 2 and a C marking on the reverse. Excellent wooden grips secured with rivets, Bright crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 14 mm. and  a crisp regiment marking. 1457.J  Very good and correct black painted scabbard and no serieus dents.

According to the ABC bayonet reference book, these regimental marked examples are used by German troops on the Austrian frontline in WW1 and are quite rare.
