Mauser M98 rifle. Very nice bright finished fullered blade. German maker's logo; FP (=Friedrich Plücker der Jungere-Solingen) in an oval on ricasso. German inspection mark crisp on blade spine Very good large bright pommel and crossguard riveted to the blade tang . Excellent wooden grips screwed to tang and no flash guard. Very nice green painted metal scabbard. Single dent near tip. Rarer maker.
