Egyptian used English M 1907 bayonet by Wilkinson.(ABC N 1035)

Lanchester SMG. Serial number in Arabic on pommel. Superb bright finished fullered blade with first 2 cm dark blued. Crisp Crown over GR, 1907 and dated: 10 '17 and British makers name: WILKINSON on ricasso. Reverse side of ricasso shows Enfield inspection marks; Bending mark X, Broad arrow. Excellent blued pommel with oil hole and crossguard with muzzle ring. MRD 16,6 mm. Excellent beech wooden grips.
Excellent black leather No. I Mk II scabbard with metal fittings, a round frog stud with three rivets and all stitches intact. Leather body is marked G&L 1940 and a large W. Both fittings with straight borders are marked: C /I\ 12. Throat is Arabic marked: Ι ζ ζ  and 048.

Very nice British colonial bayonet.
