Lanchester SMG. Serial number in Arabic on crossguard. Very good fullered parkerized blade with crown over GR, 1907 and dated: 3 '15 and makers logo: EFD (ENFIELD) on ricasso. Reverse side of ricasso shows two similar Enfield inspection markings; crown over 8E, an X, Broad arrow and a small Egyptian inspection mark. Very good crossguard with Egyptian marking; " I ζ V, MRD 16,6 mm. Very nice wooden grips. Black leather scabbard with metal fittings with all stitches intact.
Comes with an excellent grey P37 khaki frog as found
Not a common bayonet.
